Architectural Stone Co is a North Shore business. Our showroom and manufacturing plant sit together at 65A View Road, Wairau Valley — Auckland's stone and trade district — a few minutes from the Northern Motorway.
That proximity is genuinely useful for North Shore homeowners and trades. You can walk the yard, stand in front of full slabs, reserve the one you want, and come back to see it before it is cut.

Coastal considerations
A lot of North Shore living happens outdoors, close to salt air and hard sun. For alfresco kitchens and BBQ areas on the coast we specify porcelain — the most UV and heat stable surface we supply — and keep engineered stone indoors and out of direct sunlight.
Indoors, quartzite remains the most requested natural stone for Shore family kitchens: hard, dense and dramatic.
How it runs
- Select your slab at the Wairau Valley showroom
- We digitally template once cabinetry is installed and your sink, taps and hob are on site
- Fabrication in our own plant — usually 7 to 10 working days from template
- Installation by our teams; leave the sink untouched for 24 hours before the plumber connects it

Does being local make a difference?
It shortens the loop. Templating, fabrication and installation all run out of one Wairau Valley site, and you can drop in to see your slab rather than approving a photo.
