Natural Stone Warranty

As a natural material which is created by the earth in nature over millions of years, Natural Stone slabs typically do not come with a manufacturer's warranty. Each slab varies in density, pattern, colour, and mineral distribution. We strongly recommend that customers view their slabs prior to cutting.

All Natural Stone slabs are extracted from the ground with natural defects. These include pits, holes, fissures and density variation. As such every Natural Stone slab is inherently 'faulty'. Our job is to make it into a beautiful benchtop. Slabs often come with resin repairs done at the processing plant. Our stonemasons routinely perform minor resin repairs as part of the fabrication process. Resin repairs in Natural Stone are normal industry practice. As such they are not considered defects or faults in the benchtop.

Any sample supplied is intended to be indicative only, meaning it shows a general idea of the colours and finish. There is no guarantee that a particular sample will be a close match to the chosen slabs.

Visual Assessment of Stone Benchtops - Stone benchtops must be assessed under normal lighting conditions from a normal viewing position. Visual inspection is to be carried out from approximately 600mm away, at standing height, and not under extreme close-up examination, raking light, torch light, or unusual reflected light conditions. Minor variations in colour, pattern, particulate distribution, veining, polish, and naturally occurring features are inherent in stone.
