New Low Silica and Zero Silica (silica free) Engineered Stone replaces traditional Engineered Quartz with alternative minerals like albite/feldspar, recycled glass, and aluminium trihydrate, bound together with polymer resins and pigments through a high-pressure compression and thermal curing process.

As tested by independent laboratories:

Zero Silica (silica free) contains less than 1% crystalline silica.

Low Silica is defined as less than 40% crystalline silica content. Most of our preferred brands have crystalline silica content below 20% and some products are tested as low as 8%. This is similar to or less than most natural marble.
